Dr. David Aiello studies the mechanisms of intracellular calcium homeostasis in eukaryotic cells and how these mechanisms may be affected by carbohydrate metabolism.

Dr. Michael Roberts works on receptors that cause vasoconstriction in mammalian blood vessels, and how receptor function is affected by temperature. He also works on theoretical aspects of body size-metabolism scaling in mammals.

Dr. John Syring studies evolution in several species of pines. Molecular work in his laboratory is focused on acquiring DNA sequences from multiple individuals to determine relationships among these species.
