Counseling Services
Individual Counseling
The Counseling Center offers short-term counseling to full time undergraduate students on the McMinnville campus. Students can schedule individual counseling appointments by coming in person to Walker 124 and speaking with the secretary, or by calling 503-883–2535. Appointments are not made through e-mail because confidentiality cannot be assured. Walk-in appointments are sometimes available on a first-come basis.
If long-term therapy is indicated, the Counseling Center staff will help the student to access such services off-campus.
Consultation
The Counseling Center offers consultation services to the McMinnville campus of Linfield College. Examples of consultation include a student worried about a roommate who seems depressed, a professor concerned about a student who is not coming to class, or a residence life staff member with questions about how to support a resident dealing with the death of a grandparent. Consultation appointments are scheduled by coming in person to Walker 124 and speaking with the secretary, or by calling 503-883-2535. Walk-in appointments are sometimes available.
