Linfield features some of the finest small-college tennis facilities in the Northwest.
Six outdoor, lighted courts were built in 1994 adjacent to Maxwell Field and the Rutschman Field House.
Both the indoor and outdoor courts were completely resurfaced in the fall of 2015 and customized with Linfield brand graphics.
The multi-purpose field house contains three tennis courts, baseball and softball batting cages and a pole vault pit. It also houses dressing rooms as well as a north-side ticket booth. With 26,600 square feet of rubberized playing surface, the field house is used as an indoor practice facility during inclement weather.
The field house is named in honor of retired Linfield athletic director, baseball and football coach Ad Rutschman, and his wife, Joan, who served as athletic secretary and ticket manager for 27 years.
