For the second consecutive week, Emily Fellows (Jr., Portland, Ore.) has been honored as the Northwest Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week. The honor was announced Monday after a vote of the league’s sports information directors.
Fellows tallied three goals in a pair of Wildcat victories, raising her season total to a conference-leading six scores through four matches. She scored twice within 8½ minutes of the opening whistle against Oregon Tech, and added a third on a nifty spin move in Linfield’s win over Corban.
This is the 11th career conference player of the week honor for Fellows, who was recognized as the NWC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Year in both 2012 and 2010.
NEXT: Linfield (4-0) opens league play Wednesday evening at home against Pacific. Match time is set for 7 p.m.
