Wylie also ranks first in the NWC in doubles (12), home runs (5) and total bases (65). He was also named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week.

Haddeland, Linfield’s Game 1 starter, threw his first career complete-game shutout against Puget Sound, fanning eight Loggers over nine innings to improve to 6-1 for the season. He surrendered just six hits and three walks, holding UPS to a .194 batting average.

Haddeland’s six wins tops NWC statistics and his 38 strikeouts rank sixth in the league among active pitchers.

Linfield, seeking its to recapture the NWC title it last won in 2011, improved to 20-4 for the season. The Wildcats’ 13-2 NWC record leads challenger George Fox, which sits one game back at 12-3.
