From casual players to borderline professionals, golfers of all abilities are invited to take part in the 2012 Wildcat Open.
This year’s event is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 3, at Michelbook Country Club in McMinnville.
In addition to a five-person golf scramble over 18 holes, the day’s festivities include a raffle, oral auction, barbeque dinner and football season preview from head coach Joseph Smith.
Prizes are also awarded for low scores, both net and gross, and for a wealth of games and contests including closest-to-the-pin, hole-in-one and long drive.
Space is limited to the first 180 golfers who register and pay the $150 entry fee, which includes a round of golf, build-your-own lunch, dinner and beverages.
Non-golfers are also welcome to attend the evening dinner and oral auction for a cost of $20.
Proceeds generated by the Wildcat Open benefit all 19 varsity athletic teams at Linfield, making the tournament a great opportunity to have fun while at the same time assisting the athletic department with meeting all its annual needs.
Join us in early August for a fun day of golf, camaraderie and food. Register today.
