LEXINGTON, Ky. – Linfield’s Samantha Lau has been honored at both the regional and national levels for her play this season, receiving first team All-West Region and honorable mention All-America recognition by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
The Northwest Conference Libero of the Year led the league in digs for the third consecutive season, totaling 582 for an average of 5.94 per set. She graduates as Linfield’s all-time leader in career digs (1,881) and also holds the program records for single-season digs, career digs per set and career reception percentage.
Her efforts helped the Wildcats finish sixth in the NWC with at 6-10 in league matches and 11-14 overall.
