McMINNVILLE, Ore. – Adding to an already spectacular resume, Linfield’s K.C. Wiser has been selected to the Men’s All-West Region Team as presented by d3hoops.com. The honor was announced Tuesday.
Wiser, a second team selection, led the Northwest Conference in scoring (23.1) and rebounding (8.2), posting career-high averages in both categories. He was named to the all-NWC first team for the second year in a row and also received student-athlete of the week honors twice throughout the season.
He graduates with the seventh-highest career scoring total at Linfield, tallying 1,568 points over four years. His career scoring average (17.4) is eighth-best in school history.
As a team, the Wildcats finished seventh in the Northwest Conference with a 5-11 league record and 9-16 overall mark.
Three other players from the Northwest Conference were honored by d3hoops.com. NWC Player of the Year Michael Taylor (Whitworth) was a first team selection and was also chosen as the West Region Player of the Year. Teammate David Riley appeared on the third team. Whitman’s Josh Duckworth was selected as the rookie of the year.
