TACOMA, Wash. – The Oklahoma Christian Eagles dominated on all fronts and won the Logger Invitational by an impressive 29 strokes Friday at Fircrest Golf Course.

Linfield slotted three golfers among the top 10 finishers. Alex Fitch, A.J. Taylor (Jr., Kirkland, Wash.), and Yutaro Sakamoto tried to help the Wildcats catch Oklahoma Christian but the NAIA club trimmed nine strokes off its first-round score to collect the decisive team victory.

Fitch finished the tournament tied for sixth at six-over-par 148. Taylor (149) and Sakamoto (150) were just a few stroked behind their teammate, finishing eighth and ninth, respectively.

Tommy Schmitz (Jr., Gresham, Ore.) completed the Linfield scoring an overall total of 159.
