Men's soccer stars recognized for smarts

Linfield's All-Region, All-America Honors

McMINNVILLE, Ore. – Colin Bebee and Wil Hiles have been named to the 2010 Scholar All-West Region team, as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Bebee, a finance and economics major, was a first-team selection, boasting an impressive 3.95 cumulative GPA. This was the third academic honor for Bebee, who was also named to the first team as a junior and the second team as a sophomore.

Making his first appearance on the academic team was Hiles, who is majoring in business. He recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.64.

The Linfield soccer team finished sixth in the Northwest Conference with a 7-7 conference record and 8-9-1 overall.
