First- through eighth-grade boys and girls are invited to attend a special clinic entitled “Linfield Football: The Next Generation,” on Sunday, Aug. 25, at Maxwell Field.

The cost is $10. Participants are invited to arrive at 3 p.m. to observe the Wildcats’ team practice prior to registration from 4:15 until 5 o’clock at the south end of the stadium.

The on-field clinic features instructional football drills, including offensive and defensive position work, and passing games.

Kids will be divided by age groups and tutored on the various positions before joining upperclassmen for dinner in Dillin Hall. The clinic continues with passing drills on the game field.

Participants should wear athletic attire and tennis shoes. Parents are asked to pick up their children at 8 p.m.
