First- through eighth-grade kids are welcome to attend a special event entitled “Linfield Football: The Next Generation,” on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Maxwell Field. The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m.
The cost is $10 and includes dinner with selected members of the 2012 team. Registration takes place at 4:30 p.m. at the south end of the stadium. Parents are asked to pick up their children by 8:15 p.m.
The mini clinic features instructional football drills, including offensive and defensive position work and passing games.
Participants should wear athletic attire and tennis shoes.
