Complete NWC All-Star Team

Four members of the Linfield men’s soccer team earned Northwest Conference all-star recognition following a vote of the league’s eight coaches.

Named to the first team was senior midfielder Travis Isaacs (Sr., Damascus, Ore.). Twice receiving honorable mention citations in 2007 and 2008, Isaacs was appointed to the first team for the first time of his career. He finished the 2009 season ranked third in the NWC in assists (8). Combined with four goals, he finished eighth in the conference in scoring with 16 points. Isaacs finishes his career 10th on Linfield’s all-time career assists list.

Second team awards went to senior forwards Kurtis Wong (Sr., Lake Forest Park, Wash.) and Michel Camacho (Jr., Vancouver, Wash.). Wong, a first team honoree in 2008, ranked sixth in the NWC in goals scored with seven and 10th in shots attempted with 38. Wong ends his collegiate career 12th on Linfield’s all-time scoring list with 19 goals and 10 assists.

Camacho, who twice previously earned honorable mention acclaim, ranked fifth in the NWC in shots (44). In 16 matches, he scored four goals and had two assists to rank third on the team in scoring behind Isaacs and Wong.

Earning honorable mention was defender Brad Hawk (Jr., Brier, Wash.). A starter in 17 matches, Hawk was a mainstay on the Wildcats’ back line. He was on the field for 1,529 of a possible 1,730 minutes this season.
