McMINNVILLE, Ore. - Todd Wallenus scored two goals, including the game-winner in the 80th minute to lift the visiting Whitman Missionaries to a 2-1 Northwest Conference road victory over Linfield Saturday afternoon at the Linfield Soccer Field.

Whitman improves to 11-2-3 on the season while Linfield drops to 5-11-1.

Travis Isaacs (Sr., Damascus, Ore.) got the Wildcats on the scoreboard in 23rd minute with an unassisted goal but from there, Linfield did not threaten.

The Missionaries answered by tying the game at one in the 32nd minute on Wallenus’ first goal of the day.

With both clubs locked in a defensive struggle, Conner Bottomly fed Wallenus for the game-winner.
