PORTLAND, Ore. – With four competitors registering Linfield Top 10 performances, the Wildcats had a tremendous showing at the Lewis & Clark Invitational, held Friday and Saturday at the Concordia Throw Center and L&C's Eldon Fix Track.

Fresh off competing at the NCAA Indoor T&F Championships, Jake Mihelich (Sr., Fort Collins, Colo.) won both the 200 and 400 meters. He clocked in at a season-best 21.69 seconds in the 200 and 48.02 in the full-lap race.

Taylor Vicknair (Sr., McMinnville, Ore.) registered a top-three finish in the 100-meter hurdles (15.69) and helped the Wildcats to the same finish in the 4x400 relay. Vicknair led off for Brian Douglas (So., Clackamas, Ore.)s, Art O'Kelly and Mihelich, who combined for a time of 3:31.34.

Friday night at Concordia's throwing venue, Drew Doxsie (Sr., Issaquah, Wash.) and Alec Miller (Fr., Rainier, Wash.) finished fifth and seventh, respectively, in the javelin. Doxsie maxed out at 152 feet, 1 inch (46.36 meters) while Miller's top throw was measured at 148 feet, 9 inches (45.33m).

Fellow hurdler Baylie Cameron (Fr., Silverton, Ore.) recorded a career-best time in the 400-meter hurdles, completing the full lap over 10 barriers in 1 minutes, 6.49 seconds. Her performance was fastest in the Northwest Conference this spring and allowed her to crack the Linfield Top 10.

Madison Gladding (Sr., Roseburg, Ore.), Taylor Petersen (So., McMinnville, Ore.), Jade Everage (Jr., Los Angeles, Calif.) and Edge supplied a third-place effort in the 4x100 (50.86).

Dropping an impressive 44 seconds form her previous collegiate best and moving up to No. 6 on Linfield's all-time performance list, Courtney Beard (So., Clackamas, Ore.) was ninth in the 5K (18:02.38). Fellow distance runner Kaelia Neal (Jr., Salem, Ore.) posted a season-best time in the 1,500 (4:42.26), finishing ninth.

In the pole vault, Olivia McDaniel (So., Scappoose, Ore.) and Joanna Galli (Jr., Grants Pass, Ore.) placed fourth and fifth, respectively, each with a clearance of 11 feet, 7.75 inches (3.55m) that moves the duo in a tie for fourth on the Linfield Top 10 list.
