Nip receives academic commendation
Complete All-District Teams
In recognition of her success both on and off the courts, Kaila Nip (Sr., Lahaina, Hawaii) was recognized as a CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District 8 At-Large Team selection, as announced Thursday.
 
Nip, who repeated as a second team all-Northwest Conference honoree this season, has compiled a 3.83 grade point average while majoring in biology. The junior posted a 13-3 record at No. 2 singles, finishing 10-2 against conference opponents, and an 11-6 win-loss mark in second-flight doubles.
 
For her career, Nip has totaled 33 singles victories and 35 doubles win in three seasons as a Wildcat. Linfield has reached the Northwest Conference season-ending tournament each year, twice finishing as the runner-up.
