PORTLAND, Ore. – A three-pronged attached featuring double-digit kills from Victoria Thompson (Sr., Newberg, Ore.), Kailana Ritte-Camara (Sr., Molokai, Hawaii) and Sam Hammons pushed the visiting Linfield Wildcats past the Lewis & Clark Pioneers in Northwest Conference action Saturday night inside Pamplin Sports Center. Linfield won in four sets, 25-15, 21-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Thompson pounded 14 kills while Ritte-Camara and Hammons each added 11 for the Wildcats (6-13, 2-10 NWC), who earned their first conference road win of the season.

Ritte-Camara surpassed 700 career kills and 700 career digs on the same night. The third-year outside hitter now has 709 kills and 705 digs to rank 11th and 12th, respectively, on Linfield's career ladder.

With Thompson and Ritte-Camara each contributing three kills, plus a couple of service aces by Audrey Frazier, Linfield got off to a good start in the first set. The ‘Cats hit .216 while holding the Pioneers to a -.031 percentage.

Lewis & Clark recovered in the second set to square the match at 1, despite five kills and four digs from Ritte-Camara.

Linfield opened up a seven-point advantage in the third set, 17-10, before L&C stormed back to eventually tie things up at 22. Kills by Thompson and Ritte-Camara, plus an attack error by the Pioneers for the clinching point, swung the momentum onto the visitors' side of the court.
