Access to Linfield Wildcats broadcasts
now easier than ever
All Linfield football games, as well as men's and women's conference basketball contests, will be streamed live on the internet through a partnership with Stretch Internet. To listen to a game, either live or previously recorded, computer users should click here and select the game they wish to listen to. In the McMinnville area, fans can hear exciting action of Linfield Wildcats football as well as men's conference basketball broadcast games live on radio station KLYC (1260 AM). Linfield's partnership with TEAMLINE
makes it possible for fans from outside the McMinnville area to hear Wildcat
sports events over the telephone. TEAMLINE relays KLYC's live radio signal
over the telephone for a small fee. Dial 1-800-846-4700 and enter 9712 as
your team code. Simply charge the call to your credit card. You can listen
as long as you like and pay only for the time you listen. The longer you
listen, the less you pay - as low as 20 cents per minute. A group of friends
can share the cost by listening on a speakerphone. If you plan to be a frequent
user of TEAMLINE, you can save up to 70 percent by ordering a pre-paid Veteran sports broadcaster Darrell Aune returns for his eighth season as the play-by-play voice of Linfield football. Aune, a1966 graduate of Washington State University, began his broadcasting career at KWSU in Pullman, Wash. He then went to KKAM in Pueblo, Colo., before being hired at KEX in Portland where he spent 20 years as sports reporter and voice of Oregon State football and basketball. When OSU developed its own in-house radio network in 1990, Aune was hired by OSU to oversee the operation, a position he held for 10 years. In all, Aune spent 29 years as the voice of Oregon State athletics. Highly regarded within his field, Aune has been named Oregon Sportscaster of the Year 11 times and is two-time past president of the Oregon Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association. Longtime Linfield dean of students Dave Hansen begins his 33rd season of broadcasting Linfield football and joins Aune to add his unique insight and historical perspective at all home and away contests. Broadcasts begin 15 minutes before the start of each contest.
When the game concludes, stay tuned for complete postgame show, with analysis,
