Bill Machamer
Athlete 1954 - 1958

Bill MachamerTwo-sport start Bill Machamer was a three-time Northwest Conference all-star in basketball and still shares the single-game scoring record of 45 points, set against Whitman in 1957. He was a member of three NWC championships teams.

Bill was also a terrific track and field athlete, capturing the NWC championhip in the 440-yard dash. He later finished fifth in that event at the national meet.

Already a member of the NAIA District 2 Hall of Fame, Machamer went on to coach at Lebanon and Scio High Schools.
