Biography
Recent graduate Mickey Inns joins the coaching staff as receivers coach.
A two-time first team all-Northwest Conference quarterback, Inns passed for 63 touchdowns and more than 6,000 yards to rank fifth all-time at Linfield in both categories.
As a senior, Inns was named the 2012 Northwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year after completing 60 percent of his passes (253 of 416). A fourth team D3football.com All-American, his 3,288 passing yards ranked eighth nationally and his 30 touchdowns were the 11th highest total in Division III.
Inns graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics.
Inns was also a standout prep athlete, lettering nine times in football, basketball and baseball at Gresham High School where he was team captain in all three sports. In football, he was voted the Gophers’ most inspirational football player as a senior while earning second team all-Mt. Hood Conference honors. Inns set the GHS team single-game passing record of 350 yards.
