Biography

Young is serving his first season as a student assistant coach after playing two seasons in the Linfield men’s basketball junior varsity program.

A junior mass communications major from Mendocino, Calif., Young lettered twice in basketball and once in soccer at Mendocino High School. He was a two-time first team all-league honoree in basketball and served as team captain for the Cardinals.

In addition to his academic and coaching responsibilities, Young also works as a broadcaster, providing both play-by-play coverage and color commentating for several Linfield athletic events, including basketball and softball.
