Biography
Boskovich is serving as a student assistant coach for Linfield after nagging injuries brought an end to his playing days. He leaves big shoes to fill in the outfield and at the plate.
The senior business major was a three-year letterwinner for the Wildcats, earning third team ABCA All-America honors as a sophomore at the conclusion of the 2010 season. Boskovich was also a first team all-Northwest Conference pick that year after hitting .407 and setting the program’s single-season home run record (17). During a breakout freshman campaign, he tied for a team-best .385 batting average, with a team-best .482 on base percentage, 35 RBI and five home runs.
After missing the majority of the 2011 season due to injury, Boskovich started all 40 games the following year, driving in a team-high 27 runs with nine doubles, six home runs and a .453 slugging percentage.
Prior to beginning his Linfield career, Boskovich lettered six times in baseball and football at Crater High School. He was a two-time all-Southern Sky Conference selection, twice earned all-state honors and played in the State-Metro all-star series as a senior.
