Biography
Reid Kimura is in his third season with the Linfield coaching staff. He serves as the recruiting coordinator for the swim team and also assists with the club’s strength and agility programs.
Kimura swam for four years at the University of Redlands, where he was a member of four conference championship teams. He was the team captain for the Bulldogs as a senior and junior.
Prior to his collegiate career, Kimura swam at McMinnville High School, where he was an All-American in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays and an all-league performer in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke. He was also a two-time Academic All-American.
Kimura graduated from Redlands in 2006 with degrees in biology and business.
He also serves as an assistant coach for the Linfield volleyball team under his father, head coach Shane Kimura.
