Biography
Former Linfield student-athlete Laura Lovell returns for her fifth year as an assistant coach.
Competing as Laura Sibley, the Seaside, Ore., native lettered four years in track and field at Linfield, competing in the hurdles, heptathlon and relays. As a senior in 2009, she placed third in her signature event, the 400-meter hurdles, at the Northwest Conference Championships. She ranks No. 3 all-time in Wildcat history in the event with a time of 1:02.92.
Lovell graduated from Linfield in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in business. In addition to her coaching duties, she works as the director of business development and operations for Applied Physics Technologies. She and her husband, former Linfield All-American Josh (’10), live in McMinnville.
