Biography

Former all-star football player Tramaine Payne returns for his 12th season as a member of the track and field coaching staff.

Payne graduated from Linfield in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in physical education and earned his master's degree in kinesiology at Humboldt State. He holds a sprints and hurdles specialist certification from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

A native of Klamath Falls, Payne is a graduate of Henley High School. Outside of his coaching duties at Linfield, he is physical education teacher at Patton Middle School in McMinnville.
