Biography
Dominic Doty begins his fifth full season in charge of the Linfield women's soccer program. He took over leadership of the program 2/3 of the way through the 2008 campaign. During his first full season as coach in 2009, he guided Linfield to its first winning season and highest conference finish in seven years. In 2012, the Wildcats achieved their second consecutive runner-up finish in the league - tying a program best - while setting a club record for wins (16).
A native of McMinnville, Doty lettered in soccer, basketball and baseball at McMinnville High School, graduating in 2003. He was a four-year starter in both soccer and basketball. A four-time all-Pacific-9 Conference selection in soccer, Doty earned Pac-9 Player of the Year and first team all-state accolades as a senior. He set career records for goals (50), assists (21) and shots on goal (103), and holds the single-season mark for goals (24).
Following graduation, he attended Santa Clara on a soccer scholarship, but chronic injuries cut short his playing career. He graduated from SCU in 2007.
