Adam Howard begins his third season as an assistant women's soccer coach at Linfield. He also serves as head coach of the Wildcat men's soccer team.

His experience includes seven years in the high school ranks, including two as the boys soccer head coach at Yamhill-Carlton and two seasons as the head girls coach at his alma mater, McMinnville High School. He was voted league coach of the year during his first season as boys coach at Yamhill-Carlton, and was part of the coaching staff that helped lead Y-C to the first soccer league championship in program history.

A 2007 Linfield graduate, Howard earned three varsity letters in soccer and was a member of the Wildcats’ 2003 Northwest Conference championship team. He started in the NCAA tournament as a member of Linfield's third team to qualify for the postseason in school history. Howard earned a bachelor’s degree in education and is employed as a math teacher at McMinnville’s Patton Middle School.

As an athlete at McMinnville High School, he lettered nine times in soccer, basketball and track. During his soccer career he was part of four club state championships. His club team reached the regional semifinals twice during his youth career. 

Howard lives in McMinnville and is raising a son, Cayd.
