Second-year assistant coach Joe Locascio returns to his alma mater to serve the Linfield women’s soccer program as goalkeeper coach.
After spending the 2011 season with the Willamette women’s soccer team, Locascio is once again a Wildcat. He played three seasons in the goal at Linfield, starting 12 matches over his career and registering a 1.55 goals against average. He graduated from Linfield in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.
Locascio was a three-year letterwinner at Southridge High School, where he was a first team all-league and all-state pick. He was honored as the Skyhawks’ most inspirational player and served as team captain for two seasons.
He currently works as a strength and conditioning coach at Courthouse Performance Training in Salem.
