Former all-star quarterback Aaron Boehme is serving his fourth season as an assistant football coach for his alma mater. He is the Wildcats' quarterbacks coach and also has taken on an expanded role as recruiting coordinator.
The two-time Northwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year stacks up against Linfield’s all-time greats in the record books. Over his four-year career, Boehme registered the second-highest pass completion percentage, racked up the third-most passing yards and threw for the third-most touchdowns in program history.
In his two years as a starter, the Wildcats went 21-3, won a pair of league titles and advanced to at least the second round of the NCAA Division III playoffs. He was chosen as the team’s most valuable player in 2009 and was the co-MVP in 2010. Boehme was also honored as the 2010 Ad Rutschman Small College Athlete of the Year as part of the Oregon Sports Awards program.
