One of the most talented players to come through the Linfield program…great hitter with rare combination of tremendous hand-eye coordination, explosiveness, and smooth swing mechanics that equate to the rare ability to hit for power and average…glove skills, knowledge of the game, and athletic ability also make her a strong presence at 1st base…recovery from injuries will likely hinder playing time and role to begin the year but the ‘Cats are looking forward to having Staci in the lineup full-time by mid-season…two-time letterwinner…earned first team honors on the 2010 Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-Region and All-American teams as a sophomore…also honored as the NWC Player of the Year, Linfield College Female Athlete of the Year, Ad Rutschman Small College Female Athlete of the Year, and the ‘Cats co-MVP in 2010 while leading the nation with 20 home runs and setting new school records for batting average (.477), total bases (143), RBI’s (66), slugging average (.935), and on-base percentage (550)...was a dominant force at the 2010 NCAA Indianola Regional Tournament – batting .615 with 4 homeruns and 10 RBI’s in four games…voted to the all-tournament team for both the NCAA Regional and National Championship tournaments…named team’s co-MVP, Rookie of the Year, Northwest Conference Player of the Year, NFCA first team all-West Region, and NFCA first team all-American after hitting a team-best .447 with 9 doubles, 12 home runs, only 2 strikeouts, and a .968 fielding average as a freshman shortstop in 2009…majoring in history…lettered 11 times in softball, soccer and bowling at Evergreen High School…first team all-region shortstop and Greater St. Helens League Player of the Year as a senior…also earned all-league honors in soccer and bowling.
