Volunteer Opportunities at Linfield and Beyond

Here you will find local organizations and community partners that are in need of passionate volunteers. Don't see anything that sparks your interest? Looking specifically for opportunities to volunteer after graduation? Come see us at the CES Office located in Riley 301. Inquire with Director Joni Tonn or any of the Change Corps team members in the office and we can find the perfect match for your service/volunteer needs. 

Upcoming Opportunities

Taste of Service- Sat. Sept. 26th.  Spend a beautiful Saturday morning volunteering in the community with a hundred of your fellow Wildcats!  First 50 students to check-in that morning get a limited edition volunteer t-shirt; you won't want to miss out on these!  Check in starts at 8:15am in FML, with kick off at 9:00am and service projects will be finished at each site by noon.  For questions or more information, contact Change Corps Days of Service Director, Hannah Ellsworth.  
Register today! You can sign up as an individual, or get your friends, greek chapter, or group to register together.  When registering with a group, each person needs to register individually, but you can indicate the group to serve with on the registration form.

WISE mentoring
:  Do you have an hour a week to mentor a local 8th grader? By beoming a WISE mentor, you will join a community of Wildcats making a differrence in the lives of local youth at Duniway and Patton Middle school.  Applications are being accepted until September 11th.  Please contact Kara Barlow or Kailey Wright with questions!

Ongoing Opportunities

A Family Place and Lutheran Community Services: (Ongoing Service Opportunity) seeking volunteer bus drivers (12 passenger mini-bus). Shifts last 1-hour and vary in time of day and day of week. Complete this application and return it directly to A Family Place.  Further volunteer needs can be found at at their website.
Miller Woods: A flexible and friendly place to volunteer! Main jobs include transplanting bare root plants into containers for our conservation partners and other duties in the nursery (weeding, inventory, seeding, etc.).
