Positions Available

*Eligible students must be a sophomore, junior, or senior for the 2014-2015 Academic Year.

Student Coordinator - The student program coordinator assists the CES Director with planning and running the First CLAS program, and receives a $400 stipend.  This will include some work in June and July (can do from home).  The student coordinator may need to arrive on campus early.  During the First CLAS Program, the Student Coordinator will act as the student leaders' primary resource.  The Student Coordinator mentors and engages both the student leaders and First CLAS participants, leading all program participants into an exciting and successful start of the academic year. 

Group Leaders
– There will be a total of eight (8) Group Leaders and each will receive a $300 stipend. Each First CLAS Group Leader is responsible for a group of 10 first-year students. Group leaders are assigned with the task of leading and mentoring their participants, helping them transition to college life, and acting as a role model for service and student leadership.

Co-Leader – There will be two (2) Co-Leaders who will each receive a $150 stipend.  First CLAS Co-Leaders will support First CLAS Group Leaders in any way that is needed. They will move freely from group to group and act as an assistant leader for the group(s) when necessary. They are assigned with the task of leading and mentoring First CLAS participants, helping them transition to college life, and acting as a role model for service and student leadership.

All positions are full time positions for the duration of the program, with early morning, evening and weekend activities required.

Applicants must complete the following steps in order to be considered:

1. Complete the Application Supplement (click here) by 5PM on Thursday, May 1, 2014.

3. Contact information of three references: 1 Linfield factuly/staff, 1 supervisor/mentor, and 1 of your choosing. Please include this on your resume.
