Become a Linfield Changemaker!
First CLAS * Volunteer * Days of Service * Leadership * Alternative Spring Break
Apply to participate in our Pre-Orientation Service-Learning Immersion Promgram: August 14-21, 2013
First CLAS (Community, Leadership, Action & Service)
Move to campus a week before orientation begins to actively learn about Community, Leadership, Action, & Service with your fellow first year students. In teams you will explore McMinnville and the Linfield campus for a weekend. You will then spend three days serving at local community organizations focusing on three core social issues: poverty, youth, and the environment! Each day will be followed by a reflection session that will help participants delve deeper into the social issue and learn more about service from varying perspectives: interfaith, multicultural, and active citizenship.
