TASTE OF SERVICE

Check-in & Kick off Event: Fred Meyer Lounge, Riley Hall
Join your fellow first-year students and others new to Linfield as you explore volunteering in the McMinnville community. Serve together as a team at various community-based organizations.
Projects include:
- YCAP Regional Food Bank - put a face to hunger and sort collected food donations for redistribution
- Miller Woods - spend some time in nature at this community treasure weeding and hauling debris
- Barbara Boyer's Farm - dig your hands in the dirt at this community farm
- Habitat for Humanity ReStore - reduce, reuse, recycle at the ReStore and sort donations and restock shelves of building supplies and household goods
- Yamhill Community Action Partnership Transitional Housing - assist your neighbor transitioning out of homelessness by performing yard clean up and sorting household goods
- McMinnville Senior Center - be of service to your elders by beautifying the grounds of this senior meeting space
