Community Engagement and Service

Community Partners

The Office of Community Engagement and Service welcomes partnerships with local non-profits, public organizations, local governemnt and local schools. We coordinate one day service opportunities around McMinnville, and seek to educate our community about ongoing general partner organization needs.

Ways to partner:

  • Host a project during a Day of Service. (usually a Saturday, 9-12PM)
  • Host an intern
  • Advertise volunteer needs in CatConnect
  • Help educate students by being available for presentations & speakers in classes

Contact Joni Tonn, jtonn@linfield.edu or 503-883-2636 for more information on becoming a partner.

"As the Director, I work to reach out, create, and maintain partnerships with local organizations.  I'd love to meet up for coffee and learn about your organization, find out your volunteer needs and keep connected to seek oppurtunities to partner."- Joni

Need volunteers?

Linfield College students make great volunteers. While not all Linfield students are required to volunteer as part of their major, some students are looking for opportunities to connect with the community.

Check out our Volunteer Opportunities page for information on searching for volunteers.
