Linfield Change Corps

From the office of Community Engagement and Service, Change Corps is a student leadership team that organizes service-learning opportunities for Linfield College students. Each Change Corps leader holds experience in community service-learning and has a desire to lead their peers towards becoming active citizens. 

The team strives to educate their peers about service-learning and active citizenship through coordinating Days of Service events, establishing Alternative Spring Break programs focused on poverty, youth, and the environment, and organizing on-going volunteer opportunities throughout the McMinnville community.

By serving as a liaison between Linfield College and Yamhill community partners, Change Corps works to create a welcoming and vibrant culture of service on the Linfield campus. 

Change Corps members will:

• Educate their peers about service-learning and active citizenship
• Coordinate, publicize, recruit for service opportunities related to the environment, youth, and poverty
• Organize days of service, Alternative Breaks, and special events for campus involvement
• Work together to create a culture of service on the Linfield campus
