Alternative Spring Break Co-Leaders

Have you participated in Alternative Spring Break or a similar service-learning experience? Do you want to gain leadership experience by helping lead an ASB program?

What does an Assistant Leader do?

Assistant Leaders help the Change Corps Service Coordinators. Co-Leaders will be responsible for assisting the Service Coordinator to:

  • Recruit participants
  • Select participants
  • Attend all-team orientation (fall) & retreat (spring)
  • Plan trip budget
  • Work with team to raise funds for program
  • Coordinate letter-writing campaign
  • Plan & attend weekly team meetings in the spring
  • Run program during the week of service including transportation, lodging, food, and service logistics
  • Work with team to plan a post-ASB presentation to the community
  • Evaluate program & make recommendations for next year
 
Is there compensation?

Co-leaders will not need to cover their initial program deposit money due.
