The Director of Alternative Spring Break Programs coordinates all Alternative Spring Break (ASB) programs.

Sponsored by Community Engagement & Service, Linfield’s ASB is a week-long, service-learning program during which students perform meaningful service in partnership with a non-profit agency, learn about a specific social issue, and develop strong civic leadership skills to become active citizens.

The WISE Coordinators organize Linfield students who volunteer to mentor 8th-grade students for one hour per week. They publicize for and recruit volunteers, as well as train the volunteers. They communicate directly with the counselors for both middle schools in order to better facilitate the mentoring process.

Language in Motion is a high school outreach program with the overarching goal to inspire and increase students interest and study in another language and culture. The Language in Motion coordinator will help recruit volunteers for LiM presentations, and coordinates presentation visits to local schools.
