Move out Recycling

Moving out and have a lot of extra stuff? There are plenty of places to re-purpose and re-cycle your items this year.

Have useful stuff you don’t need anymore? Look for the Give & Go blue bins in your residence hall or apartment building. Acceptable items include useable and clean: clothing, appliances, furniture, tools, books, sporting goods, etc.

Have stuff that cannot be reused? Look for the Recycle Symbol - arrows sign for specialty recycling including: Books, electronics, TV’s and monitors. All cardboard, paper, metal, glass and some plastics can be recycled in the regular commingled and glass recycling.

This should be your last option. Strictly reserved for materials that cannot be recycled such as: Styrofoam, some plastics, and food waste. Pretty much everything else can be recycled.
