Final Examination Schedule Spring Semester 2014

Please note that Reading Day will be on Thursday, May 22, 2014.

Finals will start at 8:00 AM on Friday, May 23 and continue May 27, 28, and 29.

Grades for graduating seniors are due by 5:00 PM on Friday, May 30.

Finals for classes starting after 4:40 PM will be held at the starting time the first day the class is held during finals week. (e.g. if your class meets MWF at 5:00 PM, your final will start at 5:00 PM on Friday).

No finals are scheduled for paracurricular classes (classes numbered below 100) or for private music lessons, labs, discussion sessions, internships, portfolio credits, or independent study courses.

Finals for online courses will be scheduled by the instructor.

Exceptions to the Final Examination Schedule may be allowed by the Student Policies Committee in response to student or faculty
petitions.

Petitions will only be approved under the following conditions:

  • The student has more than 3 finals scheduled for the same day. These petitions must be submitted no later than Friday, April 25, 2014.
  • With documentation of an illness or injury interferes with effective preparation for the final examination period; a death, traumatic illness or other desperate condition suddenly occurs which interferes with effective study and/or test taking; or by the recommendation of the Director of Learning Support Services.
