Description:
Study of acute and adaptive physiological responses to exercise in regard to nutrition, bioenergetics, cardiovascular, clinical and environmental effects on performance. Specific focus includes the study of hemodynamic function in diseased and stressed states, clinical exercise physiology and environmental influences. Laboratory components include electrophysiology, stress testing, and wellness programming. $35 lab fee. Prerequisites: 280, 360, 440, and PSYC 101 or 281, 282 283, 284, 286, 287 or 288. Offered spring. 4 credits.
