Students and community members from the Concert Choir, Women's Vocal Ensemble and Masterworks Chorale will be featured, with accompaniment by various instrumental musicians.
The Concert Choir, directed by Larry Marsh, professor of music, will open the program with five numbers in varied styles: "Consecrate the Place and Day" by Lloyd Pfautsch and John Taverner, "Daemon Irrepit Callidus" by Gyorgy Orban, "Dulaman" by Michael McGlynn, "Mouth Music" by Dolores Keane and John Falkner and "Clap Yo' Hands" by George and Ira Gershwin. Student conductors Chris Engbretson and Erica Jossi will lead two numbers.
The Women's Vocal Ensemble will follow with four numbers conducted by Debra Huddleston, adjunct professor of music. They will sing "The Water is Wide" adapted by Luigi Zaninelli, "Five Hebrew Love Songs" by Eric Whitacre, "Come Pretty Love" arranged by Joan Szymko and "Fields of Gold" by G.M. Sumner and arranged by Roger Emerson.
The Masterworks Chorale, led by Marsh, will conclude the program with two Leonard Bernstein pieces, "Chichester Psalms" and "Make Your Garden Grow."
