CONCERT: "Composers in Skirts," an ensemble highlighting piano literature by significant women composers from the 1700s to the mid-20th Century, will be presented Thursday, April 4, at 8 p.m. in Melrose Auditorium at Linfield College. LECTURE: Richard Elliott Friedman, professor of Hebrew and comparative literature at the University of California at San Diego, will speak on "Rediscovering the Heart of the Hebrew Bible" Thursday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m. in Melrose Auditorium at Linfield College. Friedman, who is also the Katzin Professor of Jewish Civilization at UCSD, will present the Frazee Lecture in Bible and Religion at Linfield. The lecture is free and open to the public.
