WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1

MONDAY, MARCH 6

LECTURE: David Shipler, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and former foreign correspondent for the New York Times, will speak on his book, "The Working Poor: Invisible in America," Monday, March 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Jereld R. Nicholson Library at Linfield College. It is free and open to the public. For more information, call 503-883-2409.

TUESDAY, MARCH 7

WELL ARTS: Life stories of trauma and survival will be brought to life during a theatrical performance at Linfield College March 7. A theatrical collage of five inspirational stories will be performed at 7:30 p.m. in the Marshall Theatre in Ford Hall. The stories deal with issues of cancer, war, rape, multiple sclerosis and AIDS. LECTURE: Raichelle Glover, senior vice president/global business and financial services for Bank of America and Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow, will speak on liberal arts paths to corporate leadership on Wednesday, March 22, at 7:30 p.m. in Melrose Auditorium at Linfield College. She will spend a week on campus, interacting with faculty and students while sharing insights from her career in the top levels of banking leadership. The lecture is free and open to the public.
