Registration for the event will be Friday, Feb. 17, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Fred Meyer Lounge in Riley Hall. Participants can view book art by Northwest artists in "Pushing Tradition: A Book Arts Exhibition," on display at the Linfield College Fine Art Gallery in the James F. Miller Fine Arts Center from 12:30-4 p.m. Later that evening, a fathers’ reception will be held from 8-9 p.m. in the Fred Meyer Lounge. Cost for the reception is $3. A magician, Brian Brushwood, will perform magic and comic feats from 9-11 p.m. in Melrose Auditorium.
Several events are planned for Saturday, Feb. 18, beginning with registration from 9 a.m. to noon in the Fred Meyer Lounge and a brunch in Dillin Hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost for the brunch is $5.
Dads can take part in a number of activities including Black Aviators History Day and a visit to the Spruce Goose at the Evergreen Aviation Museum from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $5 for students and $9 for adults. Participants may also hit a bucket of balls on the driving range or a round of nine holes from 1-6 p.m. at the Bayou Golf Club. That evening a poker and pool tournament will be held from 7-9 p.m. in 201 Riley Hall and the Riley game room, followed by a movie from 9-11 p.m. in Melrose Auditorium.
