Registration will begin Friday, Oct. 8, from 3 to 8 p.m. in Riley Hall. Friday events include tours of the James F. Miller Fine Arts Center, Jereld R. Nicholson Library and Kenneth W. Ford Hall on the Keck Campus from 3 to 5 p.m. In the evening, the Linfield volleyball team will take on Lewis and Clark at 7 p.m. in Ted Wilson Gymnasium and ?Comedy Sportz? will be featured at 8 p.m. in Melrose Auditorium.
Several events are planned for Saturday, Oct. 9, beginning with registration in Riley Hall at 8 a.m. and "Breakfast at Linfield" from 8 to 9 a.m. in Jonasson Hall, lower level of Melrose Hall. Dave Hansen, vice president for student services and dean of students will speak on the Linfield Leadership Model from 9:50 to 10:35 a.m. in Jonasson Hall. Students will then share firsthand study abroad experiences and details along with the staff from the Linfield International Programs Office from 10:40 to 11:30 a.m. in Jonasson Hall. A family weekend brunch is planned from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Dillin Hall.
There will be an opportunity for Linfield families to take part in a downtown McMinnville celebration, with special activities on historic Third Street.
Saturday events also include a Linfield football game against Whitworth at 1:30 p.m. at Maxwell Field. Cost for the game is $8 for general admission and $12 for reserved seating. The Linfield volleyball team will take on the University of Puget Sound at 7 p.m. in Ted Wilson Gymnasium.
Other activities on Saturday include a dessert with President Vivian A. Bull in O'Riley's at 7 p.m. followed by a faculty recital featuring Pamela Goldsmith on guitar at 8 p.m. in Melrose Auditorium. The evening will conclude with a free movie viewing at 10:30 p.m. in Melrose Auditorium.
