LECTURE: Shawn Levy, film critic of The Oregonian, will present "How Do You Write Something Like That?" Monday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Nicholson Library. Newspapers, magazines, books ? each has its attendant demands, headaches and tricks. Levy, longtime magazine editor and freelancer, and author of three books of pop culture history, will discuss the various strategies, pitfalls and delights of the nonfiction writing life. PLAY: "The Foreigner" will be presented Thursday through Sunday, May 6-9, in the Marshall Theatre in Ford Hall at Linfield College. The play is at 8 p.m., May 6-8 and at 2 p.m. on May 9.
