Registration for the weekend will be Friday, Oct. 3, from 3 to 8 p.m. in Riley Hall. Events include tours of the James F. Miller Fine Arts Center, Jereld R. Nicholson Library and Kenneth W. Ford Hall on Keck Campus from 3 to 5 p.m. In the evening "Cicero Speaks," a one-person show, will be performed at 7 p.m. in the Theatre Courtyard and "Comedy Sportz" will be featured at 8:30 p.m. in Melrose Auditorium. The Family Weekend Dessert will follow at
10 p.m. in Riley Hall. Cost is $2.
Several events are planned for Saturday, Oct. 4, beginning with registration in Riley Hall and Breakfast at Linfield from 8:45 to 10:15 a.m. in Dillin Hall. Library and theatre tours will continue from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. and a family weekend brunch is planned in Dillin Hall from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Saturday events also include Linfield soccer matches against Pacific Lutheran University at noon and 2:30 p.m. Admission is free. The football team will meet PLU at 1:30 p.m. at Maxwell Field. Cost for the game is $5 for general admission and $8 for reserved seating.
Other activities on Saturday include a trip to Ceramic Expressions in downtown McMinnville and another performance of "Cicero Speaks." The day will conclude with the Linfield Idol talent contest at 8:30 p.m. in Melrose Auditorium. A group of students will compete for prize money while being judged on their talent. Admission to the show is free.
