Performances on Dec. 10 will include the Brass Choir, String Ensemble and Flute Choir.
On Dec. 11, the Wind Symphony and Woodwind Quintet will play.
The Brass Choir, directed by Joan Haaland Paddock, associate professor of music at Linfield, will play music from Royal Fireworks and Watermusic by G.F. Handel, as well as contemporary Christmas carols. The String Ensemble, conducted by Karen Vincent, adjunct professor of music, will perform the first movement from Concerto in A Minor by Antonio Vivaldi. Adjunct Music Professor Carla Wilson will lead the Flute Choir in a duet by Loilliet and trio by F.J. Haydn.
The Wind Symphony will play movements from "Old Wine in New Bottles," Gordon Jacob's work for 12 winds. The Woodwind Quintet will perform music by Mozart and others.
