The concert is free and open to the public.
The performance will feature the Brass Choir, led by Joan Paddock, assistant professor of music; the Women's Vocal Ensemble, conducted by Jackie Van Paepegham, adjunct professor of music; and the Chamber Singers and Concert Choir, both directed by Larry Marsh, professor of music. Greg Bowers, assistant professor of music, will play the organ.
The program will include a variety of familiar and non-traditional music based on themes of the Christmas season. A number of Linfield and community soloists will be featured and the audience will be invited to sing several carols accompanied by the organ. The concert will conclude with the traditional singing of the "Hallelujah" chorus from Handel's "Messiah."
Following the concert, those attending will participate in the lighting of the Linfield Christmas Tree. Refreshments will be served in Renshaw Hall.
