Global Health Week - November 30 - December 4, 2009: Join us Nov. 30 through Dec. 4 on the Portland Campus to celebrate the first Linfield College Global Health Week with art, lectures, film, exhibitors, ethnic food and more. The event features internationally renowned speakers covering globalization, culture, world conflicts, politics and policy, and other key global health concepts. Tickets are $5 for general admission; students attend free with valid ID. 

2nd Annual Pumpkin Patch Shindig - October 31, 2009: Join fellow Linfield Wildcats as we gather again at the Big Red Barn at Sauvie Island’s Pumpkin Patch from 1-5 on Halloween afternoon. Join friends, students, alumni and colleagues for holiday snacks, face painting, a costume contest (kids, adults and dogs!) and the famous Mysterious Linfield Loot raffle!

Speaker - Cody Martin Schuman - May 18, 2009: Cody Martin Schuman talk is titled:  Hospital Chaplain:  Resource for Holistic Nursing care.  This talk is sponsered by the Holistic Health Interest Group.

Mosaic Day - May 16, 2009:  Prospective high school and college students are invited to attend and receive information on becoming a nursing student.

Speaker - Patricia Walsh - May 7, 2009:  Patricia L. Walsh will be in Portland as part of a national book tour for her memoir, RIVER CITY a nurse's year in Vietnam.  It chronicles the personal tragedies of war, and the dedication, self sacrifice, trials and triumphs of practicing combat medicine.

National Nurses Day - May 6, 2009:  National Nurses Week (May 6 - May 12) kicks off with an event on May 6 at 6:30 at Pioneer Courthouse Square.
